FAQ

How does tattoo removal work?

This laser uses two different wavelengths to address darker ink colors and also brighter colors like red adn orange. It works by breaking down the ink particles and the body carries them away in the lymphatic systems.

What tattoos would qualify for removal?

We remove tattoos with any color and any size. The size and color variation of each tattoo will determine the number of sessions needed. Generally around 6 sessions for desired effect.

Is it painful?

Depending on the size and location of the tattoo, it could be painful or painfree. Just like when getting a tattoo, there are some more sensative body areas. We offer topical anesthesia, or lidocaine injections at an additional cost if needed.

What should I expect?

During the treatment you should expect a bit of discomfort depending on the area and the size of the tattoo. The ink will whiten and pinpoint bleeding can occur.

After the treatment, a healing period of 6-10 weeks is required before the next session. While healing, on rare occasions, some people can experience blistering and scabbing of the treated area.
